HALTOM CITY (1080 KRLD)A wild police chase in Tarrant County ended with the suspect in custody.

Officers in Haltom City got word late Tuesday morning of the cab that had been stolen out of Fort Worth.

"The vehicle, a beige 2014 Volvo truck tractor, was located by officers eastbound on NE Loop 820," says Haltom City Police Sgt. Eric Peters. "When the vehicle reached the area of SH 183 and Norwood, officers initiated a traffic stop."

But the driver, identified as Travis Brandon, 34, wouldn't stop -- he led officers on a chase that went through multiple cities.

"The pursuit went through Hurst, Richland Hills, Haltom City, Fort Worth, Saginaw, and returned to Haltom City, where the suspect stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Broadway and Aurora," says Sgt. Peters.

Brandon bailed out of the cab and tried to make a run for it, but police quickly caught and arrested him.

No one was injured during the pursuit, but Brandon suffered minor injuries during the takedown.

"During the pursuit, two civilian vehicles were hit by the fleeing driver in Hurst by North East Mall," says Sgt. Peters. "No injuries were reported in that collision."

Brandon faces several charges out of both Haltom City and Fort Worth, including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and evading arrest with a vehicle.
