A Fort Worth City Councilman has now tested positive for coronavirus.

District Four Councilman Cary Moon posted on his Facebook page yesterday evening that his test came back positive.

He scheduled the test on Wednesday after running a fever of 100.6 degrees. He ended his post by saying, “See you in a week and a half.”

Moon's case is one of more than 500 new positive tests reported for Tarrant County yesterday. That 500 takes the county's total to more than 10,000 which includes 218 deaths.

Moon says he began feeling ill Tuesday. By Wednesday, he felt worse and got tested. He says his symptoms have been mild.
