FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Sixteen years after a brutal double-murder in Fort Worth, the killer went to his own death in Huntsville last night.

In 2003, an 89-year-old Fort Worth woman and her 71-year-old daughter were viciously stabbed to death at their home.

Their handyman, Billy Crutsinger, was convicted and condemned to die.

Exhausting his appeals, Crutsinger was executed last night.

The Texas prison system's Robert Hurst says he gave a rambling, four-minute final statement but never apologized for the murders.
