GARLAND (KRLD) - A replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall in Washington, D.C. will be on display in Garland this week. City officials are inviting residents to line the streets on Tuesday as The Wall That Heals is taken to Audubon Park.

The wall is a three-quarter scale replica of the wall in Washington and contains the names of more than 52-thousand Americans who were killed during the Vietnam War.

It's expected to arrive at Firewheel Town Center at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. From there, it will be taken down Firewheel Parkway, Centerville Road, Duck Creek Drive and West Oates Road to Audubon Park.

Volunteers will assemble the wall there and it will be on public display from 12:00 midnight on Wednesday through Sunday, March 1st.
