HALTOM CITY (1080 KRLD) - Two men on a robbery spree in Tarrant County are on the loose.

Police in Haltom City say they pulled off robberies on consecutive days, starting on Tuesday in front of a home on Glenda Ave.

"The victim was an electrician, working on one of the houses in the area," Haltom City Police Det. Matthew Spillane says of the Tuesday robbery. "He was waiting for his co-workers to arrive, sitting his vehicle, when he was approached by two males wearing a mask and was ordered out of the vehicle at gunpoint.

"Surveillance footage from one of the nearby houses showed that those two suspects were dropped off by a dark-colored Chrysler 300 had pretty recognizable large star-shaped rims," Det. Spillane continued.

Those same two cars were seen at the site of another robbery the next day -- this one at Doc's Food Store on Haltom Rd.

"Two males enter the store. They were covered from head to toe -- the only thing you could see is their forehead and their eyes," says Det. Spillane. "Both of them had a weapon (and) demanded money. They fled the store in that same silver Toyota that was stolen from our victim the day before."

No one was hurt in either robbery.

The two are believed to be responsible for other robberies as well.

"We believe these suspects are the same ones that are involved in similar robberies in Hurst and Fort Worth," det. Spillane says.

The stolen Camry has since been recovered and is currently being processed for fingerprints and other evidence.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Haltom City Police Dept. at 817-222-7000.
