Hawaiian Falls plans to open some of its water parks this Friday.

It's part of Governor Abbott's phase two of the reopening of the state's economy.

Ryan Forson, managing director of Hawaiian Falls says park workers will wear masks and be screened each day.

They're asking sick customers to stay home, and social distancing will be the new norm.

The parks will operate at 25 percent capacity, which means spacing out chairs and tables. And while the park workers will have on masks, customers don't have to since doing so would be difficult on slides and in the water.

The Mansfield, Roanoke and Waco parks will open Friday. No word  yet on when the Garland and The Colony parks will follow.
