Terrell High School Drill Team Sponsor Takes Plea Deal Over Theft Of Funds

TERRELL (1080 KRLD) - Terrell High School's former Drill Team sponsor has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor theft charges. 

Sharraine Williams was accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the Terrell High School Drill Team.  She cut a deal with prosecutors and avoided jail time. 

Williams has been ordered to pay back $20,000 and she has to surrender all teaching credentials. She was also issued 1 year of probation.

As part of the plea agreement, her husband Reginald Williams has to resign from the Terrell school board before Monday

During the investigation, Reginald Williams has remained a Terrell school board member and currently serves as Vice President.​
