Houston Firefighter Under Self-Quarantine for COVID-19

The Houston Health Department says the firefighter is self-quarantined at home. He began to have symptoms within 24 hours after his shift on March 17th. He later tested positive for the virus.

Twelve other firefighters have been instructed to self-quarantine.

There are 3 additional firefighters awaiting COVID-19 test results after reporting exposure and exhibiting symptoms. Two are self-quarantined at home. One is quarantined with the Houston Fire Department.
