FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A convicted rapist from Fort Worth currently behind bars could be facing even more prison time.

William Bell III, 51, is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for a 2015 rape of a woman near JPS Hospital.

Now, he's believed to be responsible for two additional attacks that took place in 2014.

"We had some evidence that came in from the Department of Public Safety that linked him to these two after he was already serving his time he's doing right now," says Ofc. Buddy Calzada, a spokesman with the Fort Worth Police Dept.

A detective wrote up a pair of new warrants and is forwarding them to the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office.

At this time, it's unknown when Bell will be tried on the new charges or how much additional time he'll be facing.
