FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A Tarrant County high school girl has won at least a temporary release from the suspension that has kept her out of school.

A junior at Eaton High School in the Northwest District, Caroline Rhode was suspended from school and the drill team when a small amount of marijuana was allegedly found in her car at school.

Caroline's parents tell NBC-5 it was a used car bought recently for her.

They insist the contraband under the seat was clearly there when they bought it. To bolster their account, Caroline passed a drug test the very next day.

But administrators said it makes no difference, they have a no-tolerance policy and they are enforcing it.

However, a judge has issued a temporary order forcing the district to allow Caroline to return to school and the drill team.
