When the Dallas Cowboys host the New York Giants Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium, legendary play-by-play broadcaster Brad Sham will kick off his 41st season in the team's radio booth.

Since joining the Cowboys' broadcast team in 1976, Sham has called more than 800 games.

Aside from the handful of years he was behind the microphone for the Texas Rangers in the mid-'90s, Sham has been a constant presence in the lives of devoted Dallas Cowboys fans.

KRLD's Chris Sommer caught up with Sham ahead of Sunday's season opener.
