DALLAS (KRLD) - Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says four North Texas gas stations have agreed to reimburse customers in a post-Hurricane Harvey price gouging settlement.

Paxton's office announced Tuesday it had secured Assurances of Voluntary Compliance with the four stations, all of which charged $3.99 or more per gallon after Harvey hit the Texas coast in August 2017.  During the storm, Governor Greg Abbott declared a state of disaster, activating a provision of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.  That made price gouging on necessities - including gasoline - illegal across the state.

The local stations include:

Rush 24/7, 2410 S. Hampton Rd., Dallas 75224

Hans Texaco, 12920 Preston Rd., Dallas 75230

Hans Chevron, 2590 E. Arkansas Ln., Arlington 76014

B Z Star, Inc., 3020 Big Town Blvd., Mesquite 75150

To be eligible for reimbursement, affected customers must file a claim with the Attorney General's office. Claim forms will be accepted for Hans Texaco, Hans Chevron and B Z Star through June 30, 2019.  The deadline for Rush 24/7 claim forms is July 31, 2019.
