Two days after two children were shot at a Fort Worth motel, the stories of some older kids in the room are changing fast.

According to their original version, a year-old toddler picked up a handgun which went off, wounding himself and an older boy. They were both in stable condition.

After being questioned, two older children -- between 10-and-15-years-old -- acknowledged they were playing with the pistol when it went off.

It's not clear whether any adults were in the room at all.

Also, the toddler is now in the custody of Child Protective Services.
