DALLAS (KRLD) - There's another great divide between the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth. And it has to do with Halloween candy.

A new study takes a look at the most popular candy in every big city in the country. The candy wars come down to Snickers vs. M&M's in North Texas.

People in the city of Dallas prefer Snickers. In Fort Worth, it's M&M's. Fort Worth follows along with Texas, which also has M&M's as the state's favorite ... Six other states agree.

The favorite candy around the country is the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. 12 states prefer that.

Some of the other questions... at what age is it too old to go trick or treating? Most people say 15. People are evenly split on the issue of moving Halloween. 52 percent say it should be moved to the last Saturday of October.

The other half says it should stay on October 31st no matter what.
