The study found PCP or angel dust is one of the two most prevalant drugs in impaired drivers in Houston.

Researchers at the the Houston Forensic Science Center did the study. They found PCP in 615 blood samples.

These were taken during DWI arrests between 2013 and 2018.

Researchers say in those blood samples that 85 percent of those that tested positive for PCP were black, and 77 percent were men. The average age was 37.

The researchers say New York and Washington, D.C. are also dealing with a big PCP problem.
