DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A Republican group is targeting two Texas Congressmen ahead of the impeachment vote.

The group , Republicans for the Rule of Law, have denounced President Trump over his efforts to have Ukraine investigate the Bidens.

Republicans for the Rule of Law is now ramping up efforts against Congressmen Mac Thornberry and Michael McCaul, using digital billboards in their districts urging the lawmakers to demand answers.

One billboard reads, "What is Trump hiding? Rep. McCaul, we need the whole truth".

Other billboards ask why the White House has blocked testimony from key witnesses in the impeachment inquiry including acting chief of staff  Mick Mulvaney and  former national security adviser John Bolton.

Thornberry is not running for re-election but McCaul, a vocal supporter of the president, is.

His district is considered a battleground that democrats are targeting.
