GRAND PRAIRIE (1080 KRLD) - While President Trump rallies his supporters in Dallas tonight, former El Paso Congressman Robert 'Beto' O'Rourke holds what he bills as a counter-rally in Grand Prairie.

O'Rourke is one of nearly 20 Democrats seeking their party's nomination to run for President next year.

The speaker lineup includes: U.S. Senate candidates MJ Hegar, Royce West, Cristina Tzintzún Ramirez, Amanda Edwards, Chris Bell, Michael Cooper, John Love, and Adrian Ocegueda; Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins; Dallas County Democratic Party Chair Carol Donovan; faith leaders Rev. Dr. Michael Waters, Rabbi Nancy Kasten, Imam Omar Suleiman; in addition to local activists.

“This is all about Texans of good conscience—Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and those who don’t identify politically—coming together to stand up against fear, hatred, racism, and intolerance and to stand up for this country at our defining moment of truth,” said Beto. “Everyone is welcome.”

The O'Rourke event is tonight at the The Theater in Grand Prairie.
