PLANO (1080 KRLD) - Plano police have arrested a second person who will be charged in the murder of a 16 year old boy last Saturday.

Marquel Ellis Jr. was shot and killed at a party while his family says he was playing a video game.

Police arrested Kemond Smith, 17, Monday, but they had said a second person was involved. They say Christian Treyshun Hill, 18, was also shooting.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, four people showed up uninvited to the party and were thrown out. Police say Smith and Hill returned and started shooting.

The affidavit says Hill talked with detectives the day after the shooting, but he said he only heard the gunshots as he drove away. Police say witnesses identified Hill as one of the shooters.

Hill turned himself in Thursday evening.

Ellis was a sophomore at Allen High School. His family has scheduled his wake for 5 p.m. Sunday and his funeral at 11 a.m. Monday at One Community Church in Plano. The family says both will be open to the public.
