SOUTHLAKE (KRLD) - Police in Southlake hope the scent of the suspect will help them crack the case of a cologne thief.

Southlake DPS said surveillance video showed the young man taking an estimated $1,200 in cologne from the Ulta store at 2900 E. Southlake Blvd. on August 3.

Authorities described the suspect as a white male, 5'10" and 150 lbs., with a thin mustache and a goatee.  He was wearing a New York Yankees hat with a holographic sticker on the bill.

Anyone with information on the Ulta cologne thief is asked to call Southlake DPS Crime Analyst Diana Smith at 817-748-8915.  Smith can also be contacted by e-mail at
