DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - With restrictions easing, and especially with the Memorial Day weekend upon us, some experts are worried North Texas and Houston could see a spike in Coronavirus cases by the end of June.

The projections are based on information that includes cell phone data that tracks users' mobility.  The numbers were analyzed by the Policy Lab at Philadelphia Children's Hospital where Doctor David Rubin says it's all a guess - but an educated guess much like a long-term weather forecast which can give general guidance on how to make plans.

Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston are among the areas deemed to be at risk for a spike between now and the end of June.

The analysis also names specific counties in Iowa and Nebraska, the entire state of Alabama and southeast Florida's Gold Coast.
