Made with heroin and fentanyl, and sometimes a synthetic opioid called Pink, and sometimes the elephant tranquilizer carfentanil, it's aptly called Gray Death.

The drug cocktail Gray Death has been dubbed a 'super drug' and is said to be '80 to 100 times' stronger than heroin. Drug Enforcement Administration special agent Sammy Parks with the Houston field division says  "This drug is made up in garages and bathrooms and what we would call clandestine labs. That's why taking something like Gray Death is like playing Russian Roulette.  Lots of times drug dealers don't even know what's in these drugs."

Parks say it looks like a small gray chunk of concrete.  It can also look like powder. "The potency does vary in these drugs.  But it doesn't matter if this drug is a hundred times. five hundred times or ten thousand times stronger than morphine.  It still will stop your heart."

He says a person with an opioid addiction may buy the drug, thinking it's heroin and overdose. And drug dealers often have no idea what they're selling.

He says they've had recent cases and previous seizures of Gray Death in Houston.
