FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - The Texas Education Commissioner will decide if a teacher gets her old job back with the Fort Worth ISD.

The Fort Worth ISD board voted in June to terminate the employment of Georgia Clark. Clark had taught at Carter-Riverside High School until she posted messages on Twitter complaining to President Trump about undocumented immigrant students on her campus.

Clark has appealed the board's decision to Texas Education Commissioner Mike Morath. He has until November 23rd to decide if the board's action was justified or if Clark should get her job back.

Clark does have the right to file a lawsuit in district court if she doesn't like the decision.
