DALLAS (KRLD) - Chances are you or someone you know received these seed packets from China.

Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller says they've heard of at least 200 people in Texas who have received these packets. People in nearly 30 states have received the packets.

Commissioner Miller says, "The worst-case scenario is that you open up these bags of seeds and you have just infected yourself with a new virus from China. We don't know what's in that bag."

He says the unknown content could be dangerous to livestock and crops. Miller says don't open the package. Instead, report unsolicited seed packages to SITC.Mail@aphis.usda.gov.
