Texas SWAT Team Finds A Baby, Ecstasy, And Marijuana In An Apartment

HOUSTON (KRLD) - A SWAT team that busted into a Port Arthur apartment met up with an unexpected surprise.

Officers who were looking for drugs came face to face with a one-year-old child.

They also found 185 grams of ecstasy and marijuana hidden in a child's dresser drawer and drugs in a gum package on the floor.

Detective Michael Hebert with Port Arthur police says, "we found our suspect Phillip Washington in the apartment."

He was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Child Protective Services is also involved in the investigation.
