No Arrests Following Fatal Crash During Drag Race In Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Police say someone ran from the scene of a fatal crash Sunday morning.

Fort Worth Police say two cars were drag racing near McCart Avenue and Columbus Trail around 4:00 a.m. Sunday when another car pulled out and was hit.

A passenger in the car that was hit died. Keenan Hilsabeck, 22, was driving home from work, according to his father.

"He just turned and, boom, it was over," says Mike Hilsabeck. "I just hope he didn't suffer. I really do."

Mike Hilsabeck says his son worked as a bartender at a restaurant nearby and was driving home from work.

Police say two other people were hurt in the crash. They say one of the people racing ran away.

Police have not made any arrests.
