North Texas Engineers To Assess Fighter Jet Hurricane Damage

October 17, 2018 - 4:49 am

A team of engineers from Lockheed-Martin in Fort Worth will be working in Florida to assess the damage to more than a dozen Air Force F-22 Raptors caught up in Hurricane Michael.

The jets were  parked at Tyndall Air Force Base near Panama City.

The Air Force isn't saying exactly how many planes were damaged but Florida media say it is 17.

The sticker price on an F-22 is about 340-million dollars.
