DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Police are investigating after someone called 911 early Friday morning, saying a woman was laying on I-35E in south Dallas.

Dallas Fire Rescue and the Dallas County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a woman laying in the roadway on I-35E near Zang around 3:30 a.m.

Paramedics took the woman to Methodist Hospital where she was listed in critical condition.

Dallas Police then joined the Sheriff's Office as accident investigators and detectives began trying to piece it all together. They interviewed several people along the side of the road.

They're trying to figure out if the woman fell from a car somehow or if she was pushed from the car, and they're trying to find whoever was responsible.

Last month, a woman in Collin County was pushed out of an SUV along Highway 75.

Police in Fairview say a woman's boyfriend pushed her out of that car. He was in the U.S. illegally, and police are still trying to find him.
