Police Looking For Texas Mosque Shooter

HOUSTON (KRLD) - Someone fired shots at the Muslim American Society-Katy Center Mosque and police need your help finding them. 

Harris County Sheriff's Deputies received a call on Monday about criminal mischief at 1800 Baker Rd. in Harris County. An employee of the Mosque told deputies a contractor’s truck parked in the lot and the exterior of the Mosque were struck by gunfire. There was a bullet hole in the windshield, and a bullet hit the Mosque‘s front wall.

Mosque employees believe this happened sometime Monday morning around 3:00 a.m. But, it was not discovered until the afternoon.

The still photo from the surveillance video is the only evidence being released by investigators. The make and model of the vehicle is undetermined. Anyone with information is urged to call the Violent Crimes unit at 713-274-9100.
