Some Area Events Being Cancelled Due To Rain

Several North Texas events are being postponed or cancelled for this weekend because of the expected rain.

The city of Dallas says the 2018 Trinity River Kite festival that was supposed to be held Saturday has been cancelled. That's because of the already flooded condition of the Dallas floodway and the forecast. It will not be rescheduled.

In Garland, the city is cancelling three events: The Hinton Landfill Open House, Garland's Gone Camping and Safety Fest. People who registered for the camping event will get refunds.

In North Richland Hills, the Birdville Marching Festival has been cancelled.

The city of Grand Prairie is cancelling its #ShredIt event tomorrow. The city plans to reschedule it for December 1st.

Pilot Point says the city is cancelling "Bonnie and Clyde Days." The city is working to reschedule.

Alliance Air Show is now cancelled for Saturday due to severe weather threat. They hope to resume Sunday. Parking passes, food & drink vouchers for Saturday will be honored Sunday.
