DENTON (1080 KRLD) - A group of people attending a street preachers conference in North Texas, took their signs and messages to the University of North Texas campus yesterday.

The group hit the campus on a city-owned sidewalk near the library. Hundreds of students surrounded the group. The demonstration lasted about four hours and some of the messages led to a heated discussion with students.

One sign read, "Every Muslim is a Jihadist" and another called the Black Lives Matter movement, "Rent-a-Riot".

Denton and University police made no arrests, and University officials describe the demonstration as a peaceful and free expression of ideas.
