HALTOM CITY (1080 KRLD) - The man wanted for allegedly murdering his twin sister in Haltom City is captured.

David Conditt, 58, was arrested in South Carolina.

“At a little after midnight, the U.S. Marshal’s office and the Charleston, South Carolina, Sheriff's Office were able to locate the suspect and were able to take him into custody without incident,” says Haltom City Police Sgt. Eric Peters.

Conditt is accused of stabbing his twin sister, Dena Wright, to death inside her home last week.

Despite not having a valid driver’s license, Conditt drove away in his sister’s Toyota RAV4.

“Our detectives will go out there,” says Sgt. Peters. “They'll interview him, they'll take custody of the vehicle (and) bring the vehicle back to Texas as evidence.”

Conditt is being held in the Charleston County Detention Center, pending extradition back to Tarrant County.
