FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Fort Worth SWAT arrested five people after a stand-off overnight at a motel northwest of Downtown.

For Worth Police say two men from Dallas had reached a deal online to buy a gun at the motel along Jacksboro Highway.

When the two men arrived, police say one of the people who was selling the gun robbed a man and assaulted him. They say that man then ran into a motel room.

Police say they were told several people in the room may have guns. SWAT responded; after a stand-off, gas was deployed and five people came outside.

All five were taken into custody, but police say they may not all face charges.

Police say one of the women who was taken into custody was being held by the others in the room. They say the others would not let her leave.

Wednesday morning, police were still working on how each person who was taken into custody may have been involved.
