Texas Deputies Arrest Man Who Stabbed Plant Manager

UPDATE: Deputies have arrested a man who stabbed a plant manager in Waller County.  

Deputies arrested him on murder and aggravated assault warrants after a standoff at an apartment complex.


DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Waller County deputies are searching for 34-year-old Evan Lyndell Parker. He's accused of stabbing his supervisor, 64-year-old Harry Parnell to death.

Parker is also accused of stabbing another employee. Joseph Rangel is in critical condition. It happened last night at the Orizon Industries plant.

Witnesses say Parker took off in a gray 2014 Nissan Versa with the Texas license plate #GRJO214.

He's considered to be armed and dangerous. He faces warrants for murder and aggravated assault.

Investigators say this is considered to be a work related incident but the motive is not clear.

Parker has an extensive criminal history that includes aggravated robbery, assault, resisting arrest and aggravated assault against a public servant.
