Chambers County Sheriff Brian Hawthorne says the crash happened Sunday night on Old River Lake in Baytown.

He says a ski boat carrying five people collided with a bass fishing boat with seven people on board. Hawthorne says, "The ski boat hit the bass boat about midway. At this point, it has killed three."

He says Laura Kay Grant of Mont Belvieu and William Robert Bowles of Baytown were pronounced dead by Justice of the Peace Precinct 6, Larry Cryer at the scene.

He says Zachary Jackson Miles of Beach City, succumbed to his injuries and died at Hermann Memorial Hospital after being flown by helicopter from the scene.

At this time, two more people are hospitalized in critical condition.

The driver of the ski boat, Jacob Breaux of Baytown, was arrested on three counts of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle and two counts of intoxication assault with a vehicle with bonds totaling $200,000.
