Three Arrested In DFW Prostitution Ring

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Fifteen women have been rescued from a human trafficking ring in Dallas and Fort Worth.

Police received a tip that detailed prostitution and possible human trafficking happening a home in Dallas.

The leader was identified as Tremont Blakemore, who was believed to be the head of a large-scale prostitution organization operating in the North Texas region, the state and even the nation.

A home in a quiet north Fort Worth subdivision was used to operate out of. A neighbor tells NBC 5 he was shocked when he heard what was going on, but says he had his suspicions.

Police say Blakemore routinely keeps a group of about 20 women whom he sells for profit. He's behind bars on a $500,000 bond

Two boys, a toddler and a baby, were placed in foster care.

Police are looking for a fourth person they describe as a co-conspirator.
