DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Two people are under arrest after Dallas police say they ran a sex trafficking operation for years out of a home in West Dallas.

Dallas Police say 40-year-old Desmond Bethany and 21-year-old Bailey Hance repeatedly beat, drugged and forced several women to prostitute themselves.

The two suspects were arrested by Dallas Police earlier this week.

According to reports, some of the women who were held say both Bethany and Hance assaulted them, and once even took them to Florida and forced them into sex with customers.

The Dallas Morning News reports Dallas Police started investigating this last year after some of the women managed to escape. Some secretly contacted family membersm, and one woman even jumped into an ice cream truck and got that driver to take her to the police.

Bethany was previously charged with assault and drug possession. He and Hance both now face a charge of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking through force or fraud.
