FRISCO (1080 KRLD) - Police have arrested two 14-year-old students for making threats towards a school.

Police say it was other Stafford Middle School students who overheard the two suspects talk about bringing guns to school and shooting people.

Staff intervened and the students were arrested for exhibition of a firearm, even though they didn't actually bring a gun to school.

KRLD legal analyst Ed Klein says the threat is enough to charge them. He says the charge is a third degree felony that could land the teens up to 10 years in jail.

Last week another 14-year-old student was arrested for making a terroristic threat toward Cobb Middle School, in the Frisco ISD as well.
