DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Two North Texas senior centers are facing lawsuits, alleging staff tried to hide a string of suspicious deaths, believed to be commited by an illegal immigrant posing as a maintenance worker.

46 year old Billy Chemirmir has been in jail since last year on charges he robbed and killed a dozen elderly people at senior centers in Dallas and Collin counties. He's also being held for coming to the country illegally from Kenya.

Now, the families of six more people are suing the Tradition-Prestonwood in Dallas, saying the complex tried to hide suspicious deaths.

Their lawyer, Michael Lang, says the complex held back information.

Lang says the complex held that same information from police.

The Tradition-Prestonwood responded, saying safety has always been its top priority and any death was investigated by police and the Dallas County Medical Examiner.
