AUSTIN (1080 KRLD) - Regents for the University of Texas system voted to raise tuition at the flagship campus in Austin by 2 percent this fall, and it includes a two percent increase for the Fall of 2019.

That means the average academic charge for full-time undergrad students at the Austin campus would be about $10,800.

Tuition is also going up at other schools in the University of Texas system, by different amounts depending on the school.

Tuition will remain almost the same this fall at UT San Antonio, then is expected to go up about 2.5 percent next year.

Tuition at UT-Arlington will go up 5 percent this year and next.
