A pig and a bunch of dogs flew out of Texas with their emotional support humans today.

Felipe the pot-bellied pig and his other furry friends from the Humane Society of North Texas hopped on a flight from Wings of Rescue. They are now going to new homes and foster care in Washington, Idaho, and Oregon.

Cassie Lackey with the Humane Society of North Texas says, "Now we fly to the Northern States because they don't have the pet overpopulation that we have in the South.

She says they've worked with the ASPCA Animal Relocation Program since February.

Since then, more than 730 pets have flown to new homes across the country.

Since 1905, HSNT has worked to eliminate animal cruelty, promote humane values, and end animal homelessness.

HSNT is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars.
