After a 25-year hiatus, Ford is bringing back its iconic Bronco for the 2021 model year.

On Monday night, the automaker showed off the reimagined classic SUV.  Ford says the smaller Bronco Sport will arrive in showrooms later this year.  Other versions, available in two-door and four-door styles, will be available in 2021.

The original Bronco was produced from 1966 to 1996.  A Ford executive said the in-house project name for the new model was "GOAT," for "goes over any terrain."

On Tuesday, WWJ Radio's Jeff Gilbert joined the KRLD Morning News from Detroit to talk about the return of the Ford Bronco.
