After a record setting 97 degrees yesterday, temperatures will be a good 20 degrees cooler today!

Clouds will stick around, especially south of hwy 380 where a few showers are possible this afternoon.

Friday looks nice with highs in the upper 60s.

This weekend, the cool front lifts back to the north, humidity will increase and scattered showers and storms will roll in from the southwest.

As of this mornings data, two waves of storms will effect north Texas. The first one arrives Saturday afternoon where a level 2 severe weather threat is in the forecast. The second wave of storms looks to arrive early Sunday morning. Storms should exit after the noon hour.

Our next weather change arrives Easter evening in the form of a strong cold front.

High temperatures next Monday and Tuesday may not get out of the 40s, especially Tuesday. There may be a few chilly rain showers on Tuesday as well.

  • NEW record high yesterday! 97 degrees!
  • Cooler air has slowed down. Arrive this evening now.
  • A few showers today.
  • Showers and storms this weekend.
  • Easter dries out after the noon hour. Strong late eve cold front!
