Heat Advisory Today As Heat And Humidity Take Over

A lot of you did not see severe weather yesterday, but some did.

Large hail reports were confined to area east of Central Expressway and north of I-20 to the east of Dallas. Hardest hit areas were along and north of hwy 80, especially along I-30 and hwy 82 (east of Sherman to the Arklatex).

A possible tornado hit Greenville as well. The NWS will send a crew to Hunt County today to determine if the damage was caused by a tornado.

More of the same through the weekend. Lots of heat and humidity. However, temperatures will only be in the low 90s on Sunday. Another pattern change arrive late Sunday through Wednesday, more storms possible!

Tonight: Fair, warm and muggy.  Low: Mid 70s. Wind: South 10-20 mph.

Tomorrow: Summer arrives @ 10:54am. Possible heat advisory for some. Sunny, breezy and hot. High: Mid 90s. Heat index: 104-108. Wind: South 15-25 mph.

Weekend: Partly cloudy, hot and humid. Slight Sunday AM storm chance, better chance late Sunday. High: Low 90s.

Monday -> Wednesday: Partly cloudy and humid. Scattered strong storms. High: Near 90.​
