The sun is large and in charge this time of the year. Please know the warning signs and symptoms of heat stroke and heat exhaustion.

Heat Advisories are in effect today and tomorrow. These are issued when the heat index is forecast to reach 105 degrees or higher for two consecutive days. Please take precautions if you'll be doing any strenuous activity outdoors.

No changes are in your forecast through the weekend, however, afternoon humidity levels will drop a bit. Maybe low enough to not warrant more advisories.

A bit of good news! By next Monday, a cool front may drop south of north Texas, bringing a slight chance of rain along with a brief cool down.
