More Heat & Haze Through Wednesday, Rain Chances Return Soon

Bad news: More heat and haze through Wednesday y'all.

Good news: Chance of rain FINALLY returns Thursday and Friday.

More good news: Fall is one week away, and it will cool down significantly by the end of the month.

I am attaching the NWS's graphic showing where model data is presently showing precipitation totals as of this morning. Please keep in mind we are over 72 hours away from this event. Rain totals and effected locations will depend on the speed, strength and track of this upper level low. 

  • More heat and poor air quality through midweek.
  • Watching the Gulf of Mexico. Lots of moisture heading north!
  • Rain chances increasing Thursday and Friday!
  • Cooler temperatures as well!
  • Hurricane Humberto heads out to sea this week.
