Near Record Cold Moves Into North Texas Overnight

GRAPEVINE (1080 KRLD) - Near record cold has settled across North Texas this morning.

The record low for this date at DFW Airport is 21 degrees. 

By 5 a.m. the official National Weather Service reading was 23 with the chance of falling some more by sunrise.

With north winds around 15 miles-per-hour, the wind chill factor was 10 degrees.

  • A few showers Thursday south and east.
