Summer Heat Sticks Around North Texas

A few sprinkles are possible this morning, then ample sunshine, windy and hot conditions will prevail this afternoon. No heat advisories in effect either!

Rinse and repeat for tomorrow and Friday with high temperatures in the upper nineties. We'll cool off a tad this weekend... as the upper level high that's been to our west, drifts into the central plains states. It'll still be hot especially when you factor in the humidity, with heat index values right around 103.

No significant change is in our forecast for the foreseeable future. There may be a few showers by the middle of next week, but will tackle that forecast as we get closer.

  • ONLY 98 yesterday!
  • We stay hot for the foreseeable future, but no 100 degrees.
  • Ridge of high pressure lifts north this weekend.
  • Mid 90s coming, which is seasonable.
  • Beat the heat, check the back seat!
