More of the same today through Thursday. Sunny, light wind, warm temperatures and poor air quality. By Friday, south wind will increase bringing in Gulf moisture at a faster rate.

By Saturday afternoon, all variables may come together over north Texas to produce strong to severe storms. (1) A strong upper level disturbance cruising through the panhandle. (2) Dryline surging out of west Texas. (3) Daytime heating (mid 80s).

Timing, threats and rain totals are still up in the air, stay tuned. I will know more by Thursday and Friday.

  • Humidity on the rise as well.
  • Storm chances increase by Saturday.
