Here's a look at what's happening this weekend in North Texas.

Hispanic Heritage Month "officially" kicks off on September 15th - but there's plenty to do around North Texas starting this weekend, including family festivals and events showcasing Hispanic music, dance, food and fashion.

Flor, Canto y Grito - Oak Cliff

The Latino Cultural Center and Oak Cliff Coalition for the Arts present an evening of music, dance, arts and crafts. Festivities can be found indoors and on the plaza - which will get underway Friday night at 7 p.m. with traditional and contemporary dance performances, and a traditional grito to mark the upcoming Mexican Independence Day.

Salsa in the Park - Dallas

Dance the night away, Latin style, at Klyde Warren Park with free salsa lessons. It takes place on Friday nights from now until October 11th above Woodall Rodgers Freeway.

Quinceanera Fashion Show  - Dallas

On Saturday - check out a Quinceanera Fashion Show at the Dallas Arboretum. Colorful flowers will accompany a group of 15 and 16-year-old girls set to walk the runway. After the show, the girls will parade through the main garden for more photo ops. Mexico Lindo restaurant will conduct a cooking demo. Food and drink vendors will also be on site.

Justin Willman: Magic in Real Life Tour - Dallas

Magician/Comedian Justin Willman brings his skills as a magician to the House of Blues in Dallas on Friday night. Willman has become one of today's most prolific entertainers after his six-episode magic series on Netflix entitled "Magic For Humans".

Party on the Porch - Fort Worth

The Amon Carter Museum will host its annual Party on the Porch festival. This is a welcome-back event since the museum has been undergoin renovations. On Saturday, museum-goers are invited to hang out on the museum grounds and enjoy the food trucks and local bands that will be on-site. There will be activities for the whole family and the galleries will stay open until 10pm so you can enjoy all that the museum has to offer.
