David Blaine is at Music Hall at Fair Park tonight. (5/31)  Blaine is known for his exceptional fusion of magic and stunt work, unlike any other modern-day performer. This guy has been buried alive in New York City for a week, encased inside a six-ton block of ice for three days. Blaine also spent one week submerged in a sphere-shaped aquarium at Lincoln Center, after which he broke the world record for breath holding when he held his breath for over 17 minutes.

Plaza Palooza, a free two-day festival by Sundance Square, will take center stage June 1 - 2 with chalk artists, a popular line-up of music, visual street artists and other fun entertainment. The professional chalk artists will begin their street paintings Friday, June 1 from 1 to 9 pm. The 16 artists also will be in Sundance Square on Saturday, June 2 beginning at 1 pm until they finish their original works of art, which will be on display throughout the weekend.

There is a Gingerbread Trail Historic Home Tour in Waxahachie this Saturday and Sunday. (6/2-3) Queen Anne Victorian, Gothic Revival, Bungalow, Romanesque and Greek Revival are a few architectural styles you'll see in Waxahachie.  Visit historically recognized buildings such as the Ellis County Museum, Sims Library, the Ellis County Courthouse, and the new Ellis County Art Museum on the downtown square.

Voly in the Park at Klyde Warren Park is Saturday. (6/2)  The second annual Voly in the Park is a showcase of nonprofits and volunteerism, with more than 70 nonprofits, hands-on volunteer projects and live entertainment - all to celebrate volunteerism and VOLY.org!
